Orders & Downloads

How do I get my files after purchase?

All of our products are instant digital downloads. As soon as your payment is confirmed, you'll see a Download button on the order confirmation page, and we'll also email you a download link to the inbox you used at checkout. Nothing is shipped — there's no physical product.

I didn't receive my download email. What should I do?

Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders, and make sure you're looking in the inbox you entered at checkout (PayPal orders sometimes use your PayPal email). Still nothing after 15 minutes? Email us with the name and email used at checkout and we'll resend your links right away.

My download link isn't working or says it expired.

Download links allow a limited number of attempts for security. If yours has stopped working, email us with your order number and we'll issue a fresh link — usually within a few hours, always within one business day.

Can I re-download my files later?

Yes. Your download link is in your order confirmation email, and we're happy to resend it at any time. We recommend saving your files to your own storage (computer, company drive, or cloud) right after purchase.

Can I buy on behalf of my company?

Absolutely — most of our customers do. Enter your company billing details at checkout. Each purchase covers a single organization (see License below).

Files & Formats

What file formats are included?

Depending on the product: .docx editable policy templates (Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice), .xlsx registers and checklists (Excel, Google Sheets), .pptx training slides, .pdf guides, and .html for the AI Risk Classifier tool. Files arrive in a .zip archive.

Do I need Microsoft Office?

No. Everything works in free alternatives like Google Docs/Sheets/Slides and LibreOffice. Minor formatting differences can occur outside Microsoft Office, but all content remains fully editable.

Does the AI Risk Classifier need to be installed or hosted?

No. It's a single HTML file that runs entirely in your browser — double-click it and it works offline. No data ever leaves your computer.

Customization

How do I customize the templates for my organization?

Every template uses clearly marked [BRACKETED FIELDS] like [COMPANY NAME] and [RESPONSIBLE ROLE]. Open the document, use Find & Replace to swap in your details, search for any remaining "[" characters to catch missed fields, and delete optional sections that don't apply. Most customers have a fully customized policy in 30–60 minutes.

License

What does the license cover?

Each purchase includes a single-organization license: one company may use, edit, and distribute the materials internally without limit — unlimited employees, unlimited internal copies. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the files (original or modified) outside your organization, or use them to deliver paid services to clients.

I'm a consultant. Can I use these with my clients?

The standard license covers one organization only. To use our toolkits across multiple client engagements, email us and we'll arrange a consultant/multi-client license.

Refunds & Updates

What is your refund policy?

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If the product isn't right for you for any reason, email us within 14 days of purchase with your order number and we'll refund you in full — no forms, no interrogation. Refunds go back to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. Since these are digital goods, we ask that you delete the files after a refund — we trust our customers on this.

Do I get updates when regulations change?

Yes. Every purchase includes free updates for 12 months. When we revise a product — for example, when EU AI Act guidance or enforcement timelines change — we'll email you a fresh download link at no charge. After 12 months your files keep working forever; you simply stop receiving new revisions, and existing customers get a discount on the latest version.

Legal & the EU AI Act

Is this legal advice?

No. Our products are professionally researched templates and educational tools, not legal advice, and purchasing them does not create any attorney–client or advisory relationship. They give you a strong, structured starting point — but before relying on any policy or assessment for regulatory compliance, have it reviewed by qualified legal counsel familiar with your jurisdiction and sector. No product can guarantee compliance, and you should be skeptical of any that claims to.

EU AI Act — what are the key dates?

A quick orientation (always verify current dates with official EU sources, as guidance evolves):

  • 1 August 2024 — the EU AI Act entered into force.
  • 2 February 2025 — prohibitions on "unacceptable risk" AI practices and AI literacy obligations began to apply.
  • 2 August 2025 — obligations for general-purpose AI (GPAI) models began to apply.
  • 2 August 2026 — Article 50 transparency requirements apply (AI interaction disclosure, marking of AI-generated content).
  • 2 December 2027 — deadline for Annex III high-risk AI systems (deferred from August 2026 by the 2026 Omnibus agreement).
  • 2 August 2028 — deadline for high-risk AI systems embedded in regulated products (Annex I, deferred from August 2027).

Our EU AI Act SME Compliance Kit walks through what each phase means for small and mid-sized organizations.
